Open FREDA. Make it easier to reach.
The FREDA workspace is available online to invited participants. On supported browsers, you can also add the workspace to your computer or phone for convenient access.
Open the invitation-only workspace
Follow the sign-in link below. Then use the device instructions on this page. This public website is not the application, so do not install this marketing page as FREDA.
A demonstration request does not automatically create an account. Browser installation is optional; it does not grant access.
Choose your browser
Open the FREDA workspace first, not the public marketing website. Use a trusted personal device and a normal browser window. Menu names can vary by browser version or organization policy.
Windows: Microsoft Edge
- Open the FREDA workspace in Edge. Use the install icon in the address bar if it appears.
- Otherwise, open Edge’s menu and look under More tools → Apps for Install this site as an app.
- Review the browser’s prompt. You can choose whether to add shortcuts; automatic startup is not required.
Computer: Google Chrome
- Open the FREDA workspace in Chrome.
- Look for the install icon, or open the menu and select Cast, save, and share → Install page as app.
- Follow Chrome’s confirmation steps. If installation is unavailable, bookmark FREDA and continue in the browser.
Android: Google Chrome
- Open the FREDA workspace in Chrome rather than an email app’s embedded browser.
- Open Chrome’s menu and look for Install and create shortcut → Install. Some versions show Add to Home screen.
- Confirm the browser’s instructions. If it creates a shortcut instead, that shortcut still opens the website; it is not a native Android download.
iPhone: Safari
- Open the FREDA workspace in Safari and open the Share menu.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. If Safari offers Open as Web App, turn it on.
- Tap Add. Launch from the new icon; you may need to sign in again.
Same workspace. Same access rules.
- Online access: FREDA needs an internet connection. Adding an icon does not create an offline copy of your private workspace.
- Invitation required: installation does not create an account, grant access, or accept any required terms. Sign-in and agreement checks still apply.
- No personal API keys: this hosted workspace does not ask you to configure an OpenAI or other provider key.
- Shared devices: sign out inside FREDA when finished. Closing an app window is not signing out. Avoid installation on shared or public computers.
- No store download: browser installation is not a separate Windows installer or native Android/iOS app. No app-store download is offered here.
No install option? You may already be using an app window, your browser may not offer it, or your organization may disable it. Keep using FREDA in your browser. Removing a browser app does not cancel your FREDA account.
